Sahara and Sahel Observatory - An innovative framework for sustainable development in Africa provides a dialogue, knowledge and joint action drawn from experiences in the Sahara and Sahel. It highlights land degradation and water are the two major issues at the juncture of most of the environmental stress, poverty and scarcity of resources in the OSS region and provides knowledge generated through on how to manage the situations.
